Heartbeat Medical provides medical device software that captures patient feedback in a scientifically standardized way and inserts it into the treatment pathway. In close cooperation with medical professionals, we are constantly developing the Heartbeat Medical platform and making a key contribution to a sustainable and quality-focused healthcare system.
THE ROLE
As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always focused on the needs of our customers. By partnering with cross-functional teams and clients, you will turn your insights into an intuitive product. To achieve this you will:

- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform the design process
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with user needs and business objectives
- Iterate and improve designs based on user feedback and usability testing
- Ensure consistency and maintain a cohesive design language across different products and platforms.
- Collaborate with our developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in product design.
- Contribute to the products road map and strategic planning
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Product Designer, ideally in the med-tech industry
- You have multiple years of experience in all phases of the design process including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual/interaction design for b2b power users and usability testing
- Tools like Figma, Confluence and Jira or other documentation tools are part of your standard kit
- You have strong communication skills and an intuitive understanding of the customers need beyond the obvious
- Designing is your passion and you are eager to explore and challenge ideas
- You find it easy to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and take over responsibility
- Working independently and well organized is your strong suit
- You are experienced in contributing to customer development
- Proficiency in both English and German language

- Experience in working with analytics and making decisions based in data
- Experience in copywriting

ACCESS TO THE OFFICE
Our office in Berlin is wheelchair accessible to many areas of the office. There is a ramp to enter the building (no automated doors though), wheelchair- accessible restrooms, as well as desks and office space that suits the use of a wheelchair. We are currently working on making the office more wheelchair accessible.
